MJRF Scholarship for LBHS Graduates
Each year, the Michael James Roberts Foundation awards five scholarships at the Laguna Beach High School Honors Convocation through the LBHSSF program. These scholarships support recent graduates who reflect Michael’s spirit—whether through resilience, kindness, creativity, or their potential to make an impact. We aim to help students who will carry forward Michael’s legacy in their studies and future paths.
El Morro Jog-A-Thon Sponsor
MJRF is a proud annual sponsor of the El Morro Elementary School Jog-A-Thon, a major fundraiser for one of Laguna Beach’s local public elementary schools. The event supports vital programs like STEM education, school gardens, Spirit Week, field trips, and more—helping to enrich the student experience and strengthen our connection to the next generation.
Beach Clean-Up Days
MJRF organizes and sponsors several beach cleanups each year along our local coast. By mobilizing our community and partners, we honor Michael’s love of nature and help preserve the coastline for future generations. It’s one of the most hands-on and visible ways we stay rooted in service and community care.
Youth Sports Team Sponsorships
Youth sports were a big part of Michael’s life—and his father Rick’s too, who coached many of his teams. Today, MJRF honors that legacy by sponsoring local youth sports leagues. Our support helps cover the cost of uniforms, reducing league expenses and easing the burden on families—ensuring more kids can participate, grow, and play.
